Well we had considered getting the boat out today, but with
Ragbrai going to Storm Lake today, we opted to stay home and get home work done. We cleaned cars and the yard and Jeff fired up the grill and cooked some ribs for supper. We headed to
G'pa and
G'ma's for supper and then went and did some fishing before dessert. Kelly, Brock and Kyle catching some fish.

Gavin got excited when they got a fish, but not at all excited when they pulled it out of the water, he was scared to death of it. Notice him backing up into
G'ma as she was trying to help him pose so his mommy could get a picture.
Gavin with his fish, he kept yelling no and telling his dad to put it back into the water. It was so cute!

Kayden and
G'pa fishing. She never caught one so she quit. I love this picture though!

After fishing, we headed back for dessert and to celebrate Jeff's birthday. He got this cool Cubs picture for his basement from the
Kannegieters.
And the night wouldn't be complete without some wrestling with
G'pa.
G'pa said to Jack "you think you can hurt me, well you can't! Oh wait, actually you can. " Yes
G'pa, remember when you dislocated your shoulder chasing your grandson around the house!
I think Jack is losing this one however!
