For daddy's birthday we headed to Des Moines for some state baseball action. We left around 1pm this afternoon. Our Braves played at 6pm again Kuemper Catholic. Unfortunately we lost so our season is over. We still had a great run, we had some great seniors who will be greatly missed! Especially Jack's idol, Cody. Every year I have gotten his picture taken with Cody after the game, but since we lost, and Cody was so emotional with it being his last game, we didn't even try to get one this year, but that's OK. I got a bunch of good pictures.
The kids waiting to get into the game, posing on the big baseball for me.

Every year I always want to get a family picture and forget. Got one this year.

Kayden and mommy ready for the game.

Jack and mommy ready for game time.

Kyle waiting for the game. His hat was too big, it was so cute!

Before the game and in between innings they have a crew that captures the crowd and put them on the video screen. They got G'pa and G'ma Morgan eating. It was so funny, they had no idea they were even on the screen. We got a good laugh!

After the game we enjoyed cupcakes for Jeff's birthday. Even though he didn't get the win he wanted, he still has us!
And he got another birthday present for the Sac County Sheriff's Department last night too. On HWY 20 outside of Holstein he got pulled over for going 65 in a 55. All kids asleep in the car, almost 11pm at night, not what we wanted. Luckily he was very nice, just asked to see all Jeff's info and gave him a warning and sent us on our way. I guess that was a good present too!
