Parent's Day with Jack
We got to go to Parent's Day at Jack's school this morning. It was a great time. They showed us all the things they do at school, sang some songs, and did a little "play" for us. We then got a special gift and enjoyed lunch before the fun was over. Here is Jack with his job, pointed to the days of the week while the class sang them in Spanish! They sing the days of the week in English and Spanish every day.
They each choice a musical instrument and got to play that for us along with a song they sang. Jack has the rhythm sticks. He was very serious, notice the tongue sticking out. He must have been playing them really fast as they sticks are blurry!
Then we had to play catch with a bean bag along to music. We got to 82 catches before the song was over. He picked mom over dad to play catch! Ha ha daddy!
Then their "play" they did. Jack was a tiger and they each had to say what animal was looking at them, the person standing next to them.
And then we got early Mother's Day and Father's Day gifts from Jack. Daddy got a card with popcorn inside of it for Jack and his "Pop" to enjoy together some night. Mommy got a special card that had "tasks" that Jack can pick from each day that he needs to do, such as take out the trash, dust the furniture, hang up his clothes, and a couple more. One of the tasks was give mom a big kiss. I have a feeling that is the one he will want to pick so he doesn't have to do chores! We also got a silhouette of Jack's profile which they framed, very cute!
