Rice Krispie Bars

I rarely make rice krispie bars but had some cereal left over from Christmas baking and thought I would whip some up for the kids. I think I might have waiting to long to use the cereal because the bars are soggy, but they are still getting eaten! But after I made these I was thinking that I should put peanut butter in them, Jack would love them. I stopped for a second and realized I must have thought of that because that is how Aunt Inie use to make them. She did make the best bars. Anyone else remember that?
