Soccer Star Jack

Jack has had so much fun the last two weekends playing soccer. It is a parent/child soccer so last weekend mommy got to go and this weekend daddy got to go. He really enjoyed himself. They pretty much just did drills to teach them about soccer. Jack had fun and is learning not to use his hands, which is weird for him since you use them in every other sport he likes to play!
My little soccer star posing for the camera. It was cold today so he had to wear his hat and gloves. The grass was all wet so when we got home, our shoes and socks were soaked!
Jack kicking the ball to daddy. They had a contest between all the parent/child groups to see who could kick it back and forth to each other the most and Jack and daddy won! They kicked it 29 times. He was so excited to have won!
Another action shot. He doesn't really run up on the ball, just stands still and kicks it. It sometimes takes him a few kicks to get it to the goal, but he doesn't care. The more times he can kick it, the more fun he has!
Here they are waiting their turn to kick into the goal. The "coach" this time was actually Jack's preschool teacher's husband. He was having Jack be the leader in this drill.
Here come my boys after they are done. They were cold and wet, but Jack had lots of fun! I think he was most excited to go get a snack when they were done. They only went for one hour both times, but that is long enough for this 4 year old. Not sure if he'll want to play again, I could care less since I don't really enjoy soccer, but if he wants to, we sure will!
