Going on a treasure hunt

What a beautiful day to be outside! We went out this morning and played hard! Jack took us all on a treasure hunt. We had our pretend map and were searching for treasure. We found gold, silver, skeleton bones, blue hair from Blue Beard the pirates beard, octopus legs and the golden leaf. What an imagination that boy has. We had to search near the sand dunes, the castle, the wind mills, the waterhole, the great slide, and too many other places to remember. He was so adorable leading me around and having me run when the bad guys were after us. Kyle and Brock just followed us around like they were big stuff. He kept saying we were looking for the X...so I broke a large stick and made an X so we could be done (well we had been playing for about and hour and I needed to get in to make lunch). Well he saw the X and was excited. Thought for sure we were done, but....Jack says" that isn't the real X mom...the bad pirates put it there to trick us" soooooooooo, we played treasure hunt longer and lunch was later than usual. But that's just fine!
