It is finally Christmas Eve and that means we get to open presents, but not until after church at 5:30pm. So we had to find ways to entertain ourselves all day. We decided to take Santa hat pictures. Miss
Kayden as Santa.

Jack Man in the hat. You can see under his eyes still look red but he looks so much better.

And Mr. Kyle decided to wear the Elf hat instead.

Finally it was time for church. After a wonderful service in which the kids were so good, probably because Kyle slept though the whole things, it was time to get home, have supper and run downstairs. But we had to get our tree picture before the fun!

Present time. The kids opened the presents they got for each other first. Kyle really wanted a Transformer mask so he bought Jack one hoping Jack would get him one too. Good thing Jack did! Kyle was so excited! They will have lots of fun playing with them.

Next we moved on to gifts from mom and dad.
Kayden opened one and it was a Mario Kart box, which confused her since we already have the game. She then opened the box and mom had the camera ready...it was the
ipod she wanted more than anything. Her reaction was priceless! She screamed so loud than ran over to us about about tackled us to the ground. Needless to say, she was thrilled!
Kayden and Jack both made us a gift at school.
Kayden made us an angel and Jack a calendar. They were definitely our favorite gifts. I asked
Kayden to take a picture of us with the gifts....she tried!

My angel with the angel she made for us. And if you are really observant, yes
Kayden has different pj's on, she got these from us and loved them so much she had to change into them.

I won't bore you with pictures of the kids opening all their presents. The boys got
ISU football uniforms complete with helmets. They were thrilled and as soon as we were done opening presents, it was time to play football.

Jack holding the football for Kyle to kick, I snapped a picture of him missing....he kicked it the next try. Love the feet
jammies under the uniforms!

And lastly we had to set out cookies for Santa. Notice Kyle has a cookie in each hand, he decided to snag some for himself too! Let's hope Santa comes, they were pretty good kids this year!
