Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is finally here! And daddy didn't have to work due to the bad weather and not being busy at work, so he got the day off. It was hard keeping the kids occupied all day, especially since they knew they got to open presents that night. Mom wasn't feeling too hot today, but she did manage to let the kids paint and do a Nativity craft in between resting. Luckily after "tossing her cookies" a few times, she started to feel better! Here are Jack and Kayden painting Rudolph and Santa's sleigh. We did make it to church tonight, even with all the snow we got. Church was wonderful, and the kids were good. But they were so excited to get home and open presents, but not until mom got pictures of the kids by the tree in their PJ's.

Then it was off to presents. Kayden got the Nintendo DS she wanted. She was SO excited, as you can tell!

Jack really wanted a Star Wars helmet and gun. And he was thrilled when he opened them.

Kyle got the choo choo train he wanted!

Mommy got the most beautiful Mother's Ring. Daddy did a wonderful job picking it out. It was so cute because Jeff was trying to explain to the kids that mommy didn't have a lot of presents because the ring cost lots of money, of course they wanted to know how much, so he told them. And they were so excited, they told me right away, they had no idea they weren't suppose to tell me!

Daddy was very excited when he got the Super Mario Brothers Game for the Wii. The kids thought he was funny getting so excited.

I think everyone must have been pretty good because we got lots of good stuff. Then it was time to spread the Reindeer food Jack got at school. You sprinkle it in your yard and it glitters and glows so the reindeer can find your house.

We just sprinkled it on the front steps because there was no way we were going out in all that snow!

(funny thing, Jack woke up Christmas morning and wanted to make sure the deer ate the food, I suddenly panicked, what if it was still there, but we got soooooooo much snow and that it was all gone, Jack was so excited!)
And lastly, time to leave cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. Kyle was very insistent that Santa have an Oreo cookie with his sprinkle cookie! The boys weren't wanting to smile for the picture! Oh well!

Then off to bed, hope Santa comes!
