One Last Party for Jack

First off all, Happy 12th Anniversary to my husband! With planning Jack's party, we almost forgot it was our Anniversary too! Today Jack got to have his family birthday party. He was excited for one last party. It worked out well because cousin Frankie was home so they got to celebrate together. Here is Jack opening his gifts. An Iowa State soccer ball from G'ma and G'pa.
I turned around to snap a picture of Parker, I think this is the only picture I have ever seen of him not smiling from ear to ear. He was a tired boy!
And so was Kyle. He wanted some presents, plus he was missing nap time.
The birthday boys, Jack and Frankie with their HUGE football cake.
Pinata time! Everyone got to take several attempts at it, it wasn't too easy to break. Jack going first.
Brock taking a turn while Kristi turns her head as to avoid getting smacked!
Gavin's turn!
Kyle's turn
Brittany needed a turn too
So did Parker. As you can tell, no Kayden. She was too busy playing with her cousins to come watch Jack open presents or for the pinata.
After the party we headed to the lake for a couple hours, which might not have been the best idea. Lots of tired kids who didn't get naps, the water was a little cooler than usual, and it was very choppy so not everyone enjoyed the tubing. So we headed home early and enjoyed pizza for supper. A busy, but good day. We are not done with Jack's birthday officially and now we need to enjoy the last couple days of summer before school starts!
