Legoland
Today was another bus tour to Legoland. This was only an hour away and we didn't get our driver from yesterday, so not as exciting of a ride. A nice driver, but not near as interesting! It sprinkled on us the whole ride and I was not excited to have another rainy day, but thankfully when we arrived the rain had stopped and we didn't get a single drop the entire time. Here we are at Legoland with Bob the Builder.
We loved Legoland. There were great rides for the kids and no lines what so ever! It was perfect. This ride was funny, you just went around this turnstile, but Jack put his arms up the air like you would on a roller coaster. He was so proud of himself. And Kayden decided to be brave and ride the roller coaster with daddy, she didn't want to do it again!
One of the things we all loved and couldn't get enough of was Miniland USA. It was several cities and areas made all out of legos. You walked around these paths and saw these sculptures, it was amazing. Here we are in Washington D.C.
They had the Bricktona 500, the kids liked this. They even had little cars you could race.
In the Las Vegas area, this is the hotel Jeff and I stayed at last year when we went, the Excalibur.
And then back to more rides, here are Kayden and Jack driving the jungle cars.
Kyle driving mommy. Jeff opted to watch, he figured if he got into one of these tiny cars, he might not make it out!
And Kyle found Thomas the Train! He loved it!
We absolutely loved Legoland! We didn't even get to see it all, we ran out of time! It closes early, at 5pm and our bus boarded at 4:45pm, so we had all day, but still missed some stuff. It was great fun! And we got back to the hotel early enough that we went swimming. It was probably only 50 degrees out, but the water was much warmer. However, it was still cold! Kyle and I lasted 5 minutes before we hit the hot tub, the other lasted 10 minutes. We spent a good 20 minutes in the hot tub and decided to call it quits. We went long enough to say we swam outdoors in the winter! We ordered pizza and called it an early night!
