Disneyland

We arrived at the Omaha airport and were excited and ready to go to Disneyland! First time flying for the kids. It worked out well, Jeff sat between Jack and Kayden on one side of the aisle.
Kyle and I sat on the other side of the aisle. Worked well. We had to change flights in Denver and never had a long layover, pretty much got off and right back on. Kayden and Jack took turns sitting by the window then. The kids were excellent on the plane, can't complain one bit. I was so proud of them!
We arrived, the sun was shining and there was NO SNOW! We took our sweatshirts off and enjoyed the sun beating down on us. We were all impressed by the large palm trees.
We took a bus ride from the airport to our hotel, about 1 hour 15 minutes. Unloaded our stuff and headed to Disneyland. Our hotel was about a 10 minute walk, it was perfect! We walked in and were just amazed by everything! Here is Kayden posing by Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
And the first thing we had to do was find Mickey! We went right to his house, had about a 5 minute wait then got to see him. Kyle was so excited! I walked in front of him, and turned around quickly to catch his expression when he saw Mickey and he just froze....he didn't know what to think. But he walked over to him and gave him a big hug, quiet cute. I got all the kids to take a picture even though Jack really didn't want to.
After we saw Mickey we walked all over and checked everything out. We didn't really have a plan for the first day because I didn't know what time we would get there, how tired the kids would be or how long we would be there, but we were at the park about 6 hours. We rode, ate, and caught the parade the first night. It was all so magical! We had very tired kids when we got back to the hotel!
