Disneyland Day 2

We woke up bright and early and got over to the park. We had a "Magic Morning" pass which means we could get into the park an hour early which was wonderful because there were no lines and we got to hop right on all the rides we wanted! Another bonus was it was a cloudy day and was suppose to rain so the park was not crowded at all, we never had to wait for any ride, it was a perfect day! We wish we would have seen the sun, but it was still warm to us and much better for riding! And today Kayden bought her Minnie ears. Now isn't she adorable? She wore them the whole time we were there. And the boy got his Mickey ears. He picked them out himself and they never came off. He loved them and was so cute in them! And you may ask where Jack's ear are...well, Jack was way too cool for mouse ears. People say when you go to Disney it doesn't matter how old you are, you become a kid, well my kid wasn't into the characters or the ears. Jeff and I probably would have worn some, but not Jack! But he still had so much fun!

Kyle's favorite ride was Dumbo. He would fly to the sky and giggle the whole time. That and the tea cups....no one else likes the tea cups so mom had to do them! Luckily we didn't spin too much!

Kayden and Jack both loved Alice in Wonderland ride. It was so colorful! Jeff is having a grand time, can't you tell!

Jack's all time favorite ride was Buzz Lightyear. You got these laser guns to shoot targets and rack up points. We rode this ride many times.

Jeff, Kyle and Kayden riding Buzz. It was a fun ride. Everything is so colorful, fun to ride. I enjoyed watching the kids faces way more than any of the rides.

(and Jeff too, he and I both had just as much fun as the kids!)The one thing we really liked is there are only two parks, Disneyland and California Adventure and they are right across from each other, about 100 yards from one gate to the next. So late afternoon we headed across to the next part to hit some rides and catch their parade that night. That is where we saw Mater and Lighting McQueen.

It was a great day. As we were sitting watching the parade it started to rain, about 5:30pm. We made it through the parade and then it down poured for about 10 minutes. When it let up we raced over to where the shows are all held and caught the Aladdin show just in time. The auditorium was packed so we had to sit in the balcony about 3 rows back, but they were amazing seats. The kids could see everything perfect and it was a fantastic show! One of our favorite things we saw, the genie was hilarious. The kids keep talking about it. It was about 50 minutes and when it was over it was still raining, so we hit a couple more short shows and a few indoor rides. Finally around 8:30pm the rain had let up enough that we could make it back to our hotel without getting drenched!
