Big Time Rush Concert

Kayden and I had the night out at the Big Time Rush concert at the Clay County Fair. We invited Aunt Kim and Kammy to go with us. It was such a great time. We got the the fair about 4pm, walked around, had some supper then headed into the grandstand for the concert. It was a cold out all day and the wind was blowing, but by the time we sat down and were surrounded by people, it wasn't too bad at all!

We had great seats! Right in the middle of the stage, 20 rows up. We were right on the aisle so we could see perfectly. Funny thing was another mom and daughter from Cherokee sat directly in front of us, she and Kammy are in the same grade so it was perfect! You can't tell now, but when the concert started it was packed full, not an empty chair and the standing area of completely full too. Lots of screaming little girls! A fun time had by all.

The opening act was Hot Chelle Rae. We only knew one song of theirs "Tonight Tonight" which they of course sang as their last song and everyone went crazy. We were standing up and singing along with that one. This is their lead singer.

Even though we didn't know their songs, they were really good. We came home and looked them up on iTunes and will be downloading some of their new songs. Very good group!

After they were done it was about a 20 minute wait before Big Time Rush came on. The kids were so excited waiting. Finally they were ready to go on. I missed how the entered the stage because I wanted to capture Kayden's reaction. She was SO excited! Love it!

Here they are BIG TIME RUSH!

They were very entertaining and fun to watch. Kayden and Kammy knew the words to all the songs they sang and sang right along with them.

Won't bore you with tons more pictures of the band, I did take a lot more for Kayden and Kammy to print off and show to all their friends though.

The girls stood the entire time BTR performed. The sang, danced, jumped, did it all. They were more entertaining to watch than the band. Kim and I were getting a kick out of them. I didn't know how Kayden would react, if she would just watch or what, but she really got into it, but it was hard no to when every person there was screaming and singing and dancing. It was the perfect first concert for Kayden, a good group and great songs. She can't wait for her next concert now!
