Kammy and Kayden's Games
Back to the ballpark tonight for Kammy and Kayden's games. Kammy played first and she was the catcher. She does a really good job and doesn't let too many balls get past her.
Up to bat. I tried to get a good picture of her swinging the bat, but she didn't get a good pitch and ended up walking to first.
On second base ready to take off.
And she's off. Got her right in mid-stride. She had a good game. I don't believe they won, but Kammy of course did an excellent job!
Next off to Kayden's game. She played 3rd base, short stop and left field. She really does a good job in the field. She has a really good arm and can get the ball to first base pretty easily from there.
Kayden is having a more difficult year with her hitting. And I honestly can say it isn't her fault. Her coaches haven't quiet mastered "coach pitch" yet. They both seem to throw as if we are playing slow pitch and when the ball bounces off the plate, that isn't good for little girls trying to learn how to play. But when she does hit it, she always gets a nice hard hit. We just try to keep her motivated at home, when we practice at home or when she plays with the neighbors, she hits it just fine! (and I am not just saying that because she isn't hitting, about 3/4 of the team isn't hitting!)
Our girlie made it home! Way to go Kayden!
