Easter

Easter is here! And the Easter Bunny came! Jack got a new Super Mario game for the Wii. It is a sports mix, perfect for Jack Man. Kyle also got a Wii game, a Lego Star Wars for him and Jack to play together, and he really like the cool bubble gun he got!

Kayden was excited about the big chocolate bunny. Every year at Easter the kids always say they can't wait for the big chocolate bunny they get in their baskets!

Then it was off to find the 80 eggs the Easter Bunny hid all over the house.

Kyle needed a little assistance, I don't think he was quiet awake because he would walk right by eggs that were pretty obvious to see.

Kayden quickly found lots of eggs. She tried to jump off the couch to grab the one in the ceiling fan, but needed daddy to help after all.Little Miss Organized, she had to line up all her eggs and put what was inside them right next to the egg.

Daddy put Kyle's bubble gun together and got it working. We soon had a rule, NO bubble guns in the house. It was getting pretty wet and sticky once they all three had them going!

And there was one last Easter surprise, from mommy and daddy. We usually don't give the kids Easter gifts, but we really wanted to get them a basketball hoop and Easter was the perfect excuse to go and get it. They were so excited, really, they were!

After all the excitement, it was time to get ready for church. My cute kiddos in their Easter best.

I managed to sneak in one more picture before "We have had enough mom!" kicked in!

After church it was off to G'ma Sally (HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY TODAY!) and G'pa Chuck's house to find more eggs. But first a picture with G'ma Sally on her 60th Birthday! And as you can see, we got one and only one picture, Parker wasn't having it today. Then off to find eggs, I will spare you the pictures of the kids leaning over to pick them up. But the coolest part was inside the egg was a slip of paper you had to turn into G'ma and you got a prize! The kids loved it! Much better than plain old candy.Jack showing daddy the prize he just got. He really liked this, he told me several times "this is the coolest thing ever mom!" Great idea G'ma!

Then it was off to Uncle Mark and Aunt Kathy's house for lunch and another egg hunt. After waiting for everyone to arrive, which seemed like forever for some little ones, we got them lined up, gave them their bags and they were off.

Jack taking off. He, Frankie and Andy were all going to team up and get all the eggs fast them split them up at the end. However that plan fizzled when we told them to go and off they ran in different directions.

Kayden off to find her eggs. Each kid had one special egg with their name on it, and in it was $1, or as Kyle said $100. He said "I can get whatever I want with this!Parker, Aunt Kim, Kyle and Daddy looking for eggs. I think everyone got more than enough eggs and candy throughout the day. Brittany Ann with her eggs giving me her "pretty smile."The kids turning in their eggs to Uncle Mark and Aunt Kathy so we can do it all over again next year!

Kammy, Frankie and Jack checking out their loot. And we ended the day by returning home and bugging daddy until he got the basketball hoop put together. G'pa Chuck showed up just in time to help him get it done. The kids love it! The neighbors came over and we all played basketball for 2 hours to end Easter day. I'd say it was a pretty great Easter!
