We got a special phone call from Mr.
Ege, Cody's dad, asking if he could bring some thing over for Jack. He had just got back from visiting Cody, and Cody had somethings he wanted to give Jack. Jack was so excited, he got a real college baseball that Cody signed and put in a display case.
Cody also signed two photos to "My Man Jack". Jack just didn't know what to say, he was pretty quiet when Cody's dad gave them to him, but couldn't stop smiling. He thinks they are great. We had to take the ball out of the case and examine it. It is now proudly displayed in his room.
Cody really made his day. What a nice guy to remember Jack while he is at college. We hope that we can make it Louisville someday to watch him play. Maybe next year over Spring Break we can take a road trip. It is amazing how something so little can mean so much to someone. Jack is one happy boy!
