So daddy had the day off and he told the kids he would come to Bible School with them. He went with all of them to games, then he got put to work.
Magrey needed someone to play Jesus, and since Jeff happened to be there, he got picked! So the end of the day when all the kids come together to wrap up the day, hear a little skit and sing, Jeff got to be Jesus.
As the kids were singing a song and looking at the cross where they had put garbage bags to show their sin, Jesus walked up behind them, touching them on the shoulder (and really making some kids jump) and went up to the cross and took away their sin. I was holding Kyle, who didn't know Jeff was doing this, and I said "do you see Jesus" and he says "oh there he is....(pauses and looks real serious at me)....I think Jesus is my daddy!" So funny!
Kayden says everyone kept looking at her because it was her dad, think she might have been a little embarrassed! Of well. Not every day your dad is Jesus!
