Tonight was the Lighted Christmas Parade downtown and Santa even stopped to visit the kids. So we loaded up all the little ones and took them. Parker and Gavin were first and this was as close as they would get to Santa. Neither sat on his lap, but they did like the treats Santa had for them.
Then Brock and Brittany's turn, notice no Britt. She was not liking Santa at all and didn't get too close to him. She actually stayed as far away as possible. Brock was a little nervous at first.
But he was brave and sat on Santa's lap and told him what he wanted for Christmas.
And that's it, no picture of my kids. Kyle freaked out and wouldn't get close to Santa. Didn't surprise me, he has never liked to get too close to Santa since he was born and this year was no different. I even tried to walk up with him and he refused and the tears started so we stayed back and just looked.
Kayden and Jack were too cool for Santa. And as Jack said "that isn't the real Santa mom, just his helper". So they enjoyed a cookie instead and then we headed to the parade.
